There is a real gap in the Adventist community that many experience but few address. A growing number of single adults desire a Christ-centered marriage, yet meaningful opportunities to meet like-minded individuals remain limited.
We’ve seen the same patterns—small social circles, misaligned expectations, a lack of initiative, and uncertainty around faith and direction. Many are sincere, but not always positioned to meet someone similarly aligned. Often, it’s not a matter of character, but of access and timing.
Venn was created for serious Seventh-day Adventists who desire marriage and are willing to approach it with conviction, maturity, and a lived faith.
As a for-profit service, we approach this work with intention—taking time to know each applicant and carefully discern introductions.
Our goal is simple: to remove unnecessary obstacles and help sincere people find each other.

Venn began with Calvin Kim, a married dentist from Olympia, Washington, whose work has centered on calling others to live fully for Christ. Over time, he observed a recurring challenge: many sincere Adventists struggled to find a spouse who shared their depth of faith and seriousness about marriage. A conviction formed that a more intentional approach was needed.
Alongside him, Cindy Magan brings warmth and discernment. She is a wife, mother, and nurse with a longstanding commitment to caring for others and serving within her church community.
Together, they created Venn as a private alternative to modern dating—offering discreet introductions where genuine alignment is evident.
