Who is eligible to apply?
This service is for practicing Seventh-day Adventists who desire marriage and are approaching it with intention.
Where is Venn available?
Venn currently serves individuals based in the United States and Canada to support practical alignment in communication, travel, and potential relocation.
Is this service only for those living in California?
No. Applicants may reside anywhere. However, openness to relocation or long-distance introductions may increase the likelihood of meaningful alignment.
Is there a fee to apply?
There is no fee to submit an application or to be considered.
Does complimentary membership mean less commitment for women?
No. All members—regardless of payment—are expected to engage with intention, communicate respectfully, and participate in good faith.
Venn is for those serious about meaningful connection.
When do men pay the fee?
Venn operates on a success-based model. If an introduction results in engagement, a success honorarium is due. The amount is outlined in the formal agreement prior to confirmed participation and determined according to life stage and financial capacity.
Why use a success-based model?
Matchmaking should be aligned with outcomes. This structure reflects our confidence in the process and aligns our incentives with yours.
Will women ever be charged?
At this time, Venn offers complimentary membership for women. This may evolve as the platform grows, and any changes will be communicated clearly.
How are matches selected?
Each profile is reviewed personally. Introductions are considered when shared conviction and life direction align. Not every applicant will receive an introduction, and timelines vary.
Will my information be public?
No. Profiles are never publicly displayed. Information and photographs are shared only with mutual consent.
How long does the process take?
There is no guaranteed timeline. Some introductions occur quickly; others take time. This is a careful process.
What if I have been engaged or married before?
Prior engagement or marriage does not automatically disqualify an applicant. Each situation is considered individually.
Is there an age requirement?
Applicants must be 18 or older.
Are introductions guaranteed?
No. Introductions are made only when meaningful alignment is identified.
How many introductions can I expect?
There is no set number. Some may receive one introduction, others more, depending on alignment.
Can I pause or withdraw my application?
Yes. You may request to pause or withdraw at any time.
Are background checks conducted?
Venn does not conduct comprehensive background checks. While we review each application thoughtfully, applicants are responsible for their own discernment and due diligence.
